Download & Print Maths American Dollars money workbook complete with Boardmaker™ PCS. Designed to teach kids with no pencil skills and poor coordination how to count dollars using the rhythm of number patterns. Level One workbooks are primarily designed for kids with no pencil skills and poor fine motor coordination. You can laminate the pages and use Velcro tabs or use them as cut and paste worksheets. Binding them into a workbook can help kids learn to be independent and concentrate for longer periods of time.

Kids start by learning the number patterns using simple matching skills, which then progresses to adding dollars to the matching pattern using visual cues. E.g. $10 $20 $30 $40.   This promotes confidence and reinforces the number pattern, as well as getting kids used to counting out the pattern whilst handling money. The visual cues are then reduced to allow kids to practice what they have learnt.

The cues throughout the Money Patterns Workbook helps guide the kids through the planning and sequencing involved in each worksheet. It builds upon previously learnt skills, which reinforces self-confidence.
