Description

Download and Print this Learn to Draw KIT containing 2 workbooks (Draw-a-tale Transport and Drawing Book 1) complete with Boardmaker™ PCS and Visual Schedule Photos.

The Draw-a-Tale Transport workbook contains 3 separate stories about a Bus, a Tractor and a Fire Engine, with step-by-step instructions to show you what to do. As kids become confident with the predictability of the stories they can start to help by drawing on details such as the circles for the wheels of the bus, lines for the ladder of the Fire Engine.

These stories are great for children who are just learning to draw simple shapes or who have a strong dislike or refusal to do anything that involves drawing. For kids whose drawings lack detail, the story template helps them create recognizable pictures, which promotes confidence.

The Drawing 1 workbook is for those kids who get frustrated when what they are drawing doesn’t look right. The worksheets are designed to reward kids with fine motor control difficulties for their efforts. The templates provide visual cues to help kids know what to include. Parts of the pictures are missing which helps reinforce where the kids need to draw. The style of drawing on the templates is kid-friendly, with kids commenting that it feels like they are finishing a drawing someone else has already started.

A lot of kids become overwhelmed when they are presented with a white piece of paper, these drawing worksheets help provide structure for planning and attention to detail which results in kids feeling more confident with their drawing skills.
